White Energy Company Limited is pleased to advise that Mr Graham Cubbin has been appointed to the Board as an independent non-executive director, effective today, 17 February 2010.
Mr Cubbin was a senior executive with Consolidated Press Holdings Limited (CPH) from 1990 until September 2005, including Chief Financial Officer for 13 years. Prior to joining CPH, Graham held senior finance positions with a number of major companies, including Capita Financial Group and Ford Motor Company. He has 15 years experience as a director and audit committee member of public companies in Australia and the US.
Mr Cubbin is a director of the ASX listed Challenger Financial Services Group Limited, STW Communications Group Limited and Bell Financial Group Limited, and serves on the Audit Committee for each of these companies.
In addition, White Energy Company Limited wishes to advise that Mr Ilyas Khan has stepped down as a director for personal reasons, effective today. Mr Khan has been a director since July 2002. The board thanks Mr Khan for his vital contribution to the development of the company and wishes him well in the future.
