Market Update – Acquisition of Cascade Coal

25 March 2011 - White Energy Company Limited (ASX:WEC; OTCQX:WECFY) (“White Energy”) has previously announced its intention to issue a Notice of Meeting for an extraordinary General Meeting in late March or early April 2011 to consider the proposed acquisition of Cascade Coal (“Cascade”). White Energy and Cascade have agreed to extend the potential end date for the completion of the transaction from 30 April 2011 to 27 May 2011 to enable White Energy to finalise all relevant materials for the meeting.
