'I am delighted with the progress that the Company has continued to make during the 2009 financial year despite the prevailing global economic conditions. In a year in which equity and debt markets froze, and the resource and commodity sector experienced considerable volatility, we are pleased to remain on track with all major company milestones. White Energy is successfully positioned for substantial growth in the near term.

The difficult economic conditions experienced throughout this financial year had a material impact on many small and mid-cap businesses with respect to meeting funding requirements and sourcing new business opportunities. Despite these market challenges, White Energy successfully completed an over- subscribed capital raising, delivered our first commercial plant in Indonesia formed a strategic partnership with Peabody Energy, Inc., the world’s largest private sector coal company and embarked upon the development of its first North American plant at Kiewit Corporation’s Buckskin mine.'
