'The Company has continued to make good progress during the financial year ending 30 June 2008. Notwithstanding the turbulent times facing global economies, I believe our Company’s focus on developing cleaner coal for use in the growing energy sector is cause for great optimism. The demand we are seeing from power utility and coal companies worldwide for access to White Energy’s patented coal upgrading technology is substantial.

Over the past year the Company has secured a foothold in key markets around the world which have an abundance of low quality sub- bituminous coal reserves that are suited to the application of the White Energy coal upgrading technology. To date we have prioritised our activities to the Indonesian, North American and China markets, where projects are currently underway.'
